It is obligatory for the author(s) to check the manuscript for any possible cases of similar text indicated by the plagiarism detection software (Turnitin). JISR-C allows 19% similarity in the text as per HEC guidelines.
Please note that,
The text that has overall low similarity but has a higher similarity from a single source (5%) will be returned to the author(s) for paraphrasing and,
The text that has overall high similarity (>19%) with various low similarity sources or low similarity from a single source will also be returned to the author(s) for paraphrasing.
The article will also be considered plagiarized if the text is copied from various sources with an overall low similarity percentage but the whole article is observed to be the mixture of copied material.
