Journal of Independent Studies and Research Computing (JISRC) [www.jisrc.szabist.edu.pk] is a biannual research journal published by the Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (SZABIST). It is dedicated to the dissemination of research among institutions, universities, researchers, and students with the promotion of quality research in Pakistan as its main objective. It is published in print as well as in electronically online format. Originally, the Journal was published as a single publication entitled the Journal of Independent Studies and Research (JISR), but given the wide range of the disciplines SZABIST covers, and the overwhelming number of papers that were received, it was later thematically divided into two journals, JISR–C which covers Computing, and JISR-MSSE covering Management, Social Sciences and Economics. JISR is also Pakistan’s first online refereed journal which is available online at http://jisrc.szabist.edu.pk.
SZABIST is a renowned degree awarding Institute of Science and Technology dedicated to providing quality education and promoting research activities in Pakistan. Guidelines for authors: JISR-C seeks to publish articles that identify, extend, or unify scientific knowledge pertaining to computer sciences and other related disciplines. Of particular interest are articles that have strong potential significance to a broad cross-section of computer science and information technology researchers.
The authors are requested to submit well-researched and original unpublished papers, not already in submission to another journal for publication. Papers are selected after approval through a process of double-blind peer review by two independent reviewers. Manuscript size should be limited to between 5,000 and 8,000 words. Font style and size should be Arial 10. All papers must be submitted with a short abstract, of not more than 300 words. Full references, including author(s) name(s), the title of work, place (city) of publication, name of the publisher, page numbers, and/or website link, should be given in accordance with the IEEE citation style. Full reference should be listed as a separate section at the end of the paper in bibliographic style.
