General Instructions:

Manuscripts must be submitted through Open Journal System (OJS). Every published article can be accessed through JISRC website http://jisrc.szabist.edu.pk. Queries related to OJS and submission can be shared at editor.jisrc@szabist.edu.pk

Principal/Corresponding author shall submit original manuscript along with all the supporting/supplementary material (if any) and Consent letter duly filled and signed by principal author, on behalf of all the Co-authors (if any) on the given email address.

The author shall ensure that the manuscript is original in nature and is not submitted in any other journal for publication. The author shall also confirm that the manuscript is not submitted or published already elsewhere. Additionally, the author(s) must also obtained permission regarding any copyrighted illustration, structure or table published previously.

Authors should ONLY submit their articles directly as we do not accept articles through intermediary companies or agents. Manuscripts submitted by third party will not be entertained.

The Editor of JISRC is authorized for to make decision for the initiation of manuscript review process. Moreover, based on the reviewers comments, the decision of Editor JISRC will be final for publication

Manuscripts Published:

JISRC publishes original research articles and guest edited thematic topic issues written in English in all domains of IT and Computer Science. Book reviews, Conference Proceedings and mini thematic issues are also considered for publication.

Authors details:

The below details shall be provided by corresponding author with the submission on OJS

1) Full name of Corresponding/Principal author (marked with asterisk*)

2) Full names of Co-authors

3) Institutional affiliation of all authors

4) Complete address including cellphone/landline.

5) E-mail address

 

 

 

 

Plagiarism:

It is obligatory for the author(s) to check the manuscript for any possible cases of similar text indicated by the plagiarism detection software (Turnitin). JISRC allows almost 15% similarity in text.

Please note that The text that has overall low similarity but has a higher similarity from a single source (5%) will be returned to the author(s) for paraphrasing.

The text that has overall high similarity (>20%) with various low similarity sources or low similarity from a single source will also be returned to the author(s) for paraphrasing.

The article will also be considered plagiarized if the text is copied from various sources with an overall low similarity percentage but while the article is observed to be a mixture of copied material.

Permission:

Author(s) should acquire proper permission to include previously published/produced work from the owner and disclose it to the editorial office with the submission.

Permissions to Reprint Articles:

SZABIST reserves the right to reprint the articles that are published in JISRC.

Article Retraction:

In the event that ethical misconduct (e.g. misrepresentation/falsification of data, pervasive errors, plagiarism, multiple submission, etc.) is determined to have occurred in a manuscript published in JISRC, the editors of the journal reserve the right to issue a public retraction of the manuscript in question. The retraction will appear in the form of a note published in a subsequent issue of the journal.

Resubmissions:

The Manuscripts that have been rejected are not eligible for further consideration by the journal and thus should not be resubmitted. If a revision is allowed, it will be explicitly stated in the Editor's decision.

Review Process:

The Journal follows a double-blind peer review policy in which neither authors nor reviewers are disclosed identities.
